EVA deeply regret for the flight disruptions from 20th June to 21st July due to TFAU Strike, and we apologize for any inconvenience and impact caused.
For reimbursement of extra expenses, please directly contact EVA service center nearest to your location for further assistance.
- Strike is beyond control of the airline (refer to Article 9.2. of the General Conditions of Carriage), to our regret, it is not within the scope of our responsibility.
- For passengers holding EVA Air’s individual tickets (FIT), if the departure time of your alternative flight is 6-hour behind your original schedule, EVA Air will reimburse any necessary expenses such as meal, accommodation, or transportation caused during the delay, with the maximum reimbursement amount of USD250 (or equivalent foreign currency).
- Please keep related receipts and boarding pass of alternative flight(s) before contacting EVA service center nearest to your location for further evaluation.
- For EVA Air’s group passengers, please contact your original travel agency for further assistance.
In addition, the customer support is continuously working hard on addressing each reimbursement application; however, due to the high volume of applications, the processing time may not be able to meet every passenger’s expectation. Your patience and understanding will be highly appreciated as the process takes time.
