What is the Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax? How is the Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax identified on a ticket?
The Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax is a tax collected on departures from airports in the United Kingdom (UK). The Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax can be identified as ‘GB’ in the tax break down section of a fare.
Why is it necessary for the credit card used to purchase the ticket to be presented at the counter upon check-in at the airport?
This requirement safeguards the cardholder and helps prevent credit card fraud. All passengers who purchase tickets online are required to present the credit card they used when they check in at the airport. EVA Air may reserve the right to deny boarding
to passengers who fail to present the original credit card used to purchase ticket.
How will I know when my ticket has been issued?
As soon as you complete and confirm your booking, a reservation reference number and ticket number will be displayed on the screen immediately or such information will be provided by e-mail afterwards.
